A quote in QuoteMate moves through a few quick screens: describe the job, add the customer, review the materials, set your labour and markup, then preview and send.
The quoting flow
- Job details — pick a job template or describe the job in plain English. You can dictate it with voice-to-text on-site.
- Customer details — add who the quote is for.
- Materials list — QuoteMate suggests materials and quantities with live pricing. Add, remove, or edit any line, and search for extra items.
- Pricing (labour and markup) — set labour hours or days, your rate, your materials and labour markup, and a travel adjustment.
- Preview — check the branded PDF, then send.
Everything the AI suggests is editable. Nothing is locked — the prices and quantities are a starting point you adjust to the job.
Section-based quoting
You can split a job into named sections — for example "8 fence bays, 2 gates, 1 hardstand" — and give each section its own materials, labour, and margin. The PDF then reads the way the customer thinks about the job, rather than one long undifferentiated list.

Sending the quote
Send the quote by email with a pre-written professional message and the PDF attached, or share it by SMS or WhatsApp. The customer can accept or decline online. When they accept, convert the quote to an invoice in one tap.
