When a customer accepts a quote, you don't re-enter anything — QuoteMate turns the quote into an invoice in one tap. You can also create an invoice from scratch.
Convert a quote to an invoice
Open the job and tap Convert to invoice. QuoteMate creates the invoice from the accepted quote with all the line items carried across. This is safe to tap more than once — if an invoice already exists for that quote, it returns the existing one rather than creating a duplicate. The job timeline records the conversion.
Create an invoice directly
You can also start a new invoice without a quote — it uses the same screens as quoting (job details, customer, line items, pricing) in invoice mode.
Deposits and partial payments
- Deposits — request an upfront deposit before you start.
- Partial payments — record part-payments against an invoice; QuoteMate tracks the balance owing.
Invoice statuses
Invoices move through clear statuses: draft, sent, paid, partial, and overdue. Overdue invoices are detected automatically so you can chase them. See Tracking payments and reminders.
