Google Calendar Sync for Tradie Jobs

Every scheduled job lands in Google Calendar so your phone, ute dashboard and partner's calendar all know what's on this week.

Or try it on the web →

Your business calendar shouldn't live in two places. QuoteMate's Google Calendar integration writes every scheduled job to your Google account so it shows up on your phone calendar, your ute's Android Auto or CarPlay screen, and (if you share the calendar) your partner's phone. One source of truth, no double-entry, no 'I thought you were home Tuesday'.

What gets synced

Each scheduled QuoteMate job becomes a Google Calendar event with the customer name in the title, the job address as the location, the scope and quote total in the description, and a direct link back to the job inside QuoteMate. The event uses the start date and end date you scheduled on the job — single-day jobs become a one-day event, multi-day jobs (a kitchen reno, a long fence run) become a multi-day event. If you reschedule the job, the Google event updates automatically within seconds.

Why it matters for utes and partners

Most tradies already have Google Calendar running on their phone for personal stuff. Putting jobs in the same calendar means your ute's Android Auto or CarPlay screen reads out your next job (and the address) when you start the car, your phone's lock screen shows the next one, and any calendar you share — with a partner, a bookkeeper, or a sub-contractor — automatically shows your work week. None of this needs you to remember to copy-paste anything. The sync runs in the background.

Setup takes under a minute

Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar, sign in with the Google account you want jobs to land in, pick the calendar (most tradies use a dedicated 'Work' calendar so personal events stay separate), and you're done. Past scheduled jobs back-fill on the first sync. Future jobs sync the moment you schedule them. You can disconnect any time without losing any data on the QuoteMate side — the events stay in Google until you delete them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. After signing in, pick the target calendar — most tradies create a 'Work' calendar so jobs are visually distinct from personal events.

No. The Google Calendar sync is for your side only. The customer gets their own confirmation email if you enabled it, but they're not invited to the calendar event.

The Google Calendar event updates automatically within seconds — new date, new times, new notes, no manual editing.

Yes — that's the point. Once the jobs are in Google Calendar, share that calendar from inside Google with whoever needs visibility. They'll see your work week without ever having to log into QuoteMate.
